Hero scenes: methods and sources
Every Academy page opens on a three-dimensional scene of a real process in its context.
What each scene shows
Every scene is a teaching illustration of a real process, drawn from its governing relation; none is a forecast, an assessment or live data.
No fixed places
No scene is tied to a place or a past event.
Small pages, scenes on demand
A page carries a drawn poster and a small loader. When the hero nears the view the loader fetches this page from the same site, checks the SHA-256 of the scene runtime and of the place data against the digests the page was built with, and only then runs them, on three.js 0.185.1 fetched with subresource integrity. Without JavaScript or WebGL, or with reduced motion requested, the poster or a still frame stays; the scene stops drawing when it leaves the view.
