It is not legal, regulatory, financial, investment, insurance, accounting, tax, engineering, medical, safety or other professional advice, and it does not create an adviser-client or other professional relationship.
• 1.2 Anyone who relies on the Site for a decision does so at their own risk and should take the advice of a competent professional and, where one exists, the instructions of the competent public authority.
• 1.3 Risk Academy, led by the Nexus Consortium, offers courses, pathways and completion records. It grants no degree or diploma, and a completion record records what was studied and assessed; it does not certify competence.

• 2.1 Nothing on the Site is a forecast, an early warning, an alert, a rating, a recommendation to buy or sell, or an instruction to act. Only the competent public authority may warn the public or order an action in an emergency.
• 2.2 Live layers and feeds show the data of their providers as it is published, with its source and time. They can be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and they must not be used for navigation, emergency response, safety-critical or operational decisions.

• 3.1 A model, scenario, canvas, interface scene or figure that illustrates a method is labelled as illustrative. It uses example names and values, is not a record of any real system, place or institution, and is not a finding.
• 3.2 Where a figure reports a result, the page states its source, method, date and uncertainty. Gaps in the evidence are stated, not filled.

• 4.1 The publisher does not certify, license, approve or vouch for any person, organisation, product, dataset or implementation.
• 4.2 A statement of conformance with a Nexus Standard is the implementer’s own attestation and is not verified or vouched for by the publisher.
• 4.3 A completion record, a listing, a mention, a credit or participation in an activity is not an approval or a recommendation.

• 5.1 Figures carry an evidence class, a source and a time, as the Research and Data Terms describe. Illustrative material is labelled and is never a result.
• 5.2 Values of The Global Risks Index (NXS-GRX) are shown only from a released edition, cited with the edition and its identifier. A page that precedes an edition shows methods and sources, not values.

• 7.1 The boundaries, names and designations shown on maps do not imply any judgement on the legal status of any territory, or any endorsement or acceptance of such boundaries. Boundaries are drawn from Natural Earth and other sources named beside the map, and are generalised for the scale at which they are drawn.
• 7.2 Maps are shown for context. They are not suitable for navigation, surveying, the delimitation of any boundary, or any legal or administrative purpose.

• 8.1 The Site is not issued, endorsed or approved by the United Nations, by any of its agencies, funds or programmes, by any government or by any other international organisation. A reference to such a body, to its standards or to its data identifies them and implies no affiliation or support.
• 8.2 Risk Academy is not affiliated with, or supported by, any other organisation that uses a similar name.
• 8.3 The institutions of the Nexus Consortium are independent of one another. A statement on one institution’s site is not a statement of another.

• 9.1 To the extent permitted by law, the publisher and its directors, staff, volunteers and contributors are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or reliance on, the Site, its data or its figures, including indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages.
• 9.2 Nothing in this document excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability, or any right of a consumer, that cannot be excluded or limited by the law that applies.

• 10.1 Errors are corrected openly. A report of an error, with the page address and a source where there is one, may be sent to the contact form. The acknowledgement gives a reference and names the next step.
