Starting, records and access
Starting a course
What you keep at the end
- What does a completion record show? The course, its version and the date, kept when every assessed activity is passed. It records what was studied and assessed; it does not certify competence.
- Can someone check my record?Only with your agreement; records are private by default. See checking a completion record.
- Where are achievements explained? On achievements and records.
Accessibility and your data
- Is the Academy accessible?Figures and maps have text alternatives and video has captions; pages work with a keyboard, in light and dark themes, and respect reduced motion. Study is self-paced with no deadlines unless a cohort sets one.
- What happens to my learning data?Your learning records are personal data: visible to you until you opt in to share them, and you can export them or ask for them to be erased through the privacy request form.
