Climate and nature governance, taught twice over: as the working methods of the field and as its frontier since 2024, with labs on the Academy's tools, open data and the Nexus Standards.
This area covers the institutions and law that govern climate and nature risk: adaptation planning and institutions, nationally determined contributions, biodiversity frameworks, disclosure governance, land, ocean and river basin governance, climate justice and the gaps between commitments and implementation.
Adaptation indicators and finance goals define how adaptation progress and gaps will be tracked in national planning. COP30 Presidency (Brazil), Normative, 1 July 2026
