Health emergencies, environmental health, human development and social policy
Risk reaches people through their lungs, their work, their income and their rights: an outbreak doubles in a crowded cell, a hospital network has no surge capacity, a transition takes away a livelihood without remedy.

Twin figures for Delhi and its National Capital Territory core, counted from its layers at their stated dates.
The faculty's twin of Delhi on the planet map, the globe and in 3D. Pick a generator, switch layers, run the instruments; every layer prints its provider and date.
Drag to move, right drag or Shift with a drag to turn and tilt, Ctrl with the wheel to zoom. Keyboard: arrows move, Shift with arrows turn and tilt, + and - zoom, 0 resets, V steps through the views, Escape clears.
Flat plan of the same data: relief as contours from the inline grid, the WorldPop count grid as cells, the mapped hospitals and the numbers below. The 3D twin opens on devices with WebGL once its data and library have been checked.
The map loads from this site as it nears the view (MapLibre 6.9.1, checked by hash).
On the count grid, hospitals and air of Delhi the stage carries a compartmental epidemic explorer with its parameters on screen, exposure on the WorldPop grid and CAMS air quality read against the WHO 2021 guideline values, under the International Health Regulations (2005), ISO 45001:2018 and the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. A graduate can run a compartmental model and say why it is not a forecast, and count who is exposed without claiming who is affected.
Faculty of Health and Society groups 11 disciplines into 3 departments. 2 of the 7 courses whose primary discipline is here are open for enrolment and the rest are in preparation; all of them are taught on the Risk Academy main site, so your record stays in one place.
Numbered as on the faculty figure at the top of the page. Each card counts the department's disciplines and the courses whose primary discipline is there.
Each discipline once, in its department. A mark is one primary course, filled when it is open.
Emerging areas, the technologies changing practice and the bodies that set the field's methods, from the faculty's expert review. Named for orientation; none of them endorses the Academy.
The newest developments cited on the faculty's discipline pages, sources checked on 16 October 2026. Each links to its discipline and its source.
News and research as they are published, per discipline, with the faculty's other tools.

The Nexus Standards subsites whose standards the faculty's disciplines teach, by the Academy's proposed mapping.
| Lab | What you do in it | Courses using it |
|---|---|---|
| Map lab | Read hazard, exposure and boundaries on real maps | 5 |
| Network lab | Build dependency graphs, find critical nodes, trace cascades | 4 |
| Exposure lab | Overlay people and assets with hazard footprints | 2 |
Each programme joins disciplines from more than one faculty and is hosted by an institute on the main site; it is listed on every faculty it spans.
Each department lists its disciplines, courses and pathways; each discipline its scope, labs, technology and key terms.
