Hospital safety, surge capacity, workforce, supply chains and continuity
Health systems and health care resilience covers the capacity of a health system to keep essential services running through shocks: hospital safety, surge capacity, workforce, medical supply chains, digital health and health data, health financing shocks and equity.

Twin figures for Delhi and its National Capital Territory core, counted from its layers at their stated dates.
For Health systems and health care resilience: the faculty's twin of Delhi on the planet map, the globe and in 3D. Pick a generator, switch layers, run the instruments; every layer prints its provider and date.
Drag to move, right drag or Shift with a drag to turn and tilt, Ctrl with the wheel to zoom. Keyboard: arrows move, Shift with arrows turn and tilt, + and - zoom, 0 resets, V steps through the views, Escape clears.
Flat plan of the same data: relief as contours from the inline grid, the WorldPop count grid as cells, the mapped hospitals and the numbers below. The 3D twin opens on devices with WebGL once its data and library have been checked.
The map loads from this site as it nears the view (MapLibre 6.9.1, checked by hash).
The discipline teaches the hospital safety index method, surge capacity estimation from beds, staff and supplies, supply-chain mapping for medicines and oxygen, continuity planning under ISO 22301 and ISO 22320:2018, health financing analysis as external aid falls, and patient safety, with the 950 mapped hospital points of the Delhi twin (as mapped, no capacity implied) and the WorldPop count grid as the exposure they serve. A graduate can assess a facility with the safety index method, estimate the surge a network can absorb from mapped facilities and workforce data, and write the continuity plan for a hospital's dependencies on power, water and supply.
This area covers the capacity of health systems to keep essential services running through shocks: hospital safety, surge capacity, workforce, medical supply chains, digital health and health data, health financing and equity. It is taught in the department of Global Health Security, Faculty of Health and Society, through 1 course with it as primary discipline and 2 more that also teach it.

These courses count in their own primary discipline and also teach this one; they do not count towards its achievement as primary courses.

Nexus Foundry system pages describe what each system and its rooms are designed to do; they are not a service on offer, and studying here gives no access to them.
Open courses in connected disciplines teach the methods this discipline will build on.
