Twin figures for Delhi and its National Capital Territory core, counted from its layers at their stated dates.
For Pollution and environmental health: the faculty's twin of Delhi on the planet map, the globe and in 3D. Pick a generator, switch layers, run the instruments; every layer prints its provider and date.
Drag to move, right drag or Shift with a drag to turn and tilt, Ctrl with the wheel to zoom. Keyboard: arrows move, Shift with arrows turn and tilt, + and - zoom, 0 resets, V steps through the views, Escape clears.
Flat plan of the same data: relief as contours from the inline grid, the WorldPop count grid as cells, the mapped hospitals and the numbers below. The 3D twin opens on devices with WebGL once its data and library have been checked.
The map loads from this site as it nears the view (MapLibre 6.9.1, checked by hash).
The discipline teaches exposure pathway analysis and dose-response reading, source apportionment, the WHO 2021 air quality guideline values as reference lines (PM2.5 15 micrograms per cubic metre over 24 hours and 5 annual), environmental health surveillance, sand and dust storms, plastics and marine pollution, and the hierarchy of controls; its instrument on the faculty home reads the CAMS hourly series at any point of the Delhi twin against the guideline and counts the hours above it with the people of the cell, labelled as a teaching estimate, with the TROPOMI nitrogen dioxide column draped on the terrain for its date. A graduate can trace an exposure pathway to a dose, compare a modelled series with monitor readings and name the resolution and date of each, and write a control plan ordered by the hierarchy of controls.
This area covers air, water and soil pollution, chemicals and hazardous waste, and the pathways from a source to human and ecosystem exposure. It is taught in the department of Environmental and One Health, Faculty of Health and Society, through 1 course with it as primary discipline and 1 more that also teach it.
8 subtopics, taught across its courses and labs.
Not yet taught by a course: Chemical exposure and risk assessment.
